Seabird Island’s finance and administration department stewards our economic growth through strategic planning and governance. We track community-owned businesses plus band-run enterprises to inform investments in sustainable ventures both on and off-reserve.

Meticulous record-keeping and transparent reporting uphold accountability in all areas – from budgets to performance metrics. We help council make data-driven decisions when allocating resources towards programs, infrastructure, training, etc. Fiscal diligence allows us to enrich community livelihoods.

Additionally, our purchasing/procurement arm sources quality materials and services to support operations. Centralizing purchases increases efficiency community-wide. Streamlining requests, supplier agreements and inventory also minimizes waste.
