The Seabird Island Band promotes health and wellness through diverse recreation programming for all ages. Our Community Services and Recreation team offers activities to help community members lead more active lifestyles.

Our fitness facility provides:

  • Group classes like boot camp, dance, and elderly fitness
  • Individual exercise with weight rooms and cardio equipment
  • Team sports such as basketball, volleyball, floor hockey
  • Scheduled open gym times
  • Customized personal training

Frequently Asked Questions and Fitness Centre Policies

  • No children under 13 allowed at any time.
  • Ages 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Wear proper workout attire and running shoes.
  • Use equipment safely – no horseplay allowed.
  • Put away weights and equipment after use.
  • Be respectful of noise levels when using music.
  • No outside food permitted – water only.
  • Sign in on the provided sheets.
  • If accessing outside staffed hours, do not allow unapproved guests.
  • Do not prop doors open or allow people to enter and exit.
  • Use provided towels on equipment.
  • Wipe down all equipment after use.
  • Leave facility tidy by closing windows, doors, etc.
  • You may be asked to leave the facility.
  • You may be liable for any damages.
