Election Committee
Are you interested in joining Seabird Island’s Election Code Committee?
Why Join?
- To review the Election Code and recommend amendments to the community.
- To promote member’s interest and engagement in the Election Code amendment process.
- To ensure compliance with and carry out the purpose of the Election Code.
Who can join?
- Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
- Must be a Seabird Island Member.
- Any person who is willing, committed, and has working knowledge of the Election Code and other applicable laws, and policies.
Things to know:
- The committee will operate as a temporary one and will be dissolved once the Code has been amended.
- Honorarium will be paid to committee members.
How can I apply?
Application forms will be available for pickup at the Band Office. If you would like a PDF fillable version or require assistance with filling out the form, please contact the Policy team or come to the Band office.
