INFRASTRUCTURE DEPARTMENT UPDATE
Re: Housing Program

Éy swayel Sq’ewqel Community,

As a result of Community feedback, and in an effort to improve how we serve our Community’s ongoing housing-related needs, we are pleased to share that the Housing Team is undergoing notable development.

This is to enhance our Housing Program’s current capacity for Community support, especially with two of its Team Members on temporary (unrelated) leaves.

Current Highlights:

• Beginning this week, as of January 6, 2025, we have a dedicated Member answering calls and messages.
• Going forward, the new direct phone number to reach our Housing Team is 604-795-6930.
  • NOTE: the Housing Team’s email address remains unchanged: housing@seabirdisland.ca
• Another Member, as of January 6, 2025, began their supportive Repair and Maintenance position.
• For added transparency, please know that we are currently looking for a Project Manager.
