Seabird Island’s licensed after-school program provides educational activities for kids age 5-12 to enrich learning outside school hours. Through games, sports, field trips and more, children can explore interests, build relationships, and discover talents in a safe environment. Learning Beyond School
Seabird Island’s licensed Out of School program provides a safe, educational, and engaging environment for children from kindergarten through age 12. Students can participate in a variety of sports, games, field trips, and other enriching activities designed to broaden horizons and complement school-day learning. With access to toys, equipment, and caring staff guidance, children can explore interests, build relationships, and discover new talents in their time outside of school. Need a lift?
Seabird Island’s Out of School Care program offers transportation options to make participating easy and convenient. Upon request, busing and pick-up services are available from Kent Elementary and Seabird Island schools. We aim to make our licensed after-school enrichment programming accessible for local families.
After-School Care Schedule
During the school year from September to June, Seabird Island’s Out of School Care program operates on regular school days from 2:30pm – 5pm.
Full-day care from 7:45am – 5pm is also offered for professional development and school closure days, with advance booking required.
Summer programs are available to provide care during July and August as well.
